fast charger for pp

hello, i am relatively new to pp and 18th scale rc...
i have a t100 that is stock, except i am now using the rc18 driveshaft and spur gear...
i am getting really tired of the 10 hour wait between charges, so im now thinking about fast chargers... is the best bet just to get the 35$ one available at radioshack, or are there other better ones out there? i am still using the stock battery, also considering jumping up to the RS 1400mah...

thanks

A really nice low cost AC/DC digital peak charger for all micro battery packs is the Duratrax Piranha Digital peak charger, model 4005. It has an LCD display and can store 10 charge profiles. It also allows you to make up your own charge pigtails that just plug into the front of the charger much like hooking up stereo speakers. This is extremely handy when using different battery connectors.

This charger will go up to 3 amps when using the built-in AC power and up to 5 amps if you use an external 12V power source. If all you need to charge are micro battery packs then you'll probably never need 3 amps let alone 5 amps.

They are in the $40 range and you can sometimes find them used for cheaper.
