need more grip what do u do

a friend and myself have some pritty sick micros as for speed
im running:
my custom lexan chassis, front oneway, solid rear diff, aluminum front knuckles, aluminum front top cover, aluminum cvd, aluminum rims w/ soft hpi tires, bearings all round, 150mm and 140mm wheel base, aluminum steering conector, micro steering servo, mamba 8000kv motor w/ mamba 25 esc, 2400mah 3cell lipo batt, jr xr3i radio gear,
my friend:
basicly same setup just my custom 540 chassis, 7cell sub c batt, stock front diff and rear diff, press on wheels and tires same soft compound tires

on a desk top dyno mine hits 68mph his only 59mph

when racing neither of us can keep enough traction to allow the cars to reach top speed what should we do, any tips will be help full

On mine i ran it with medium foams in the rear and hard rubbers up front.

thanks for the info how well did it run on asphalt or concrete kinda been afraid to run foams thought that they either wouldnt grip and or last do u happen to have any vids

I run soft rears and medium fronts, TRC and HPI foams. I run wide wheels all around. I get traction but you have to remember, these cars weren't made to go this fast. The cars need a light touch at high speed.
