gpm titanium axles

http://www.gpmracing.com.hk/car/page/pop_ml44.asp

dont get them, i bought 2 pairs so i can put a pair in the front and a pair in the rear... the first pair that i opened seemed ok, they fit into the bearings in the knuckles perfectly.... opened up the second pair, the first axle that i took out also fit perfectly.... but the second one , it was too thick to fit into the bearings

oh well thats $5 down the drain on some more junk... interesting that the ONLY manufacturers that ive had problems with , all of them are from hong kong... at least i have a rotary handheld grinding tool , it feels crazy tho, grinding away at that titanium to get it just a hair thinner so it could fit thru the bearings... i think im asking quite alot from my rotary grinder now

So 3 out of the 4 wrk? BUmmer that they don't ALL work ....it figures right...the last one doesn't work

Bummer that you would have to modify it to make it fit. But if it doesn't need to much clearence, it might be worth your time if you want to get it to run.

You know, I was going thru there stuff (which is alot...lol), and they have seemed to invested alot of R&D time into developing a whole bunch of stuff for the MLST. To bad they can't invest a little bit more into quality control right

Did you see that last one? Number 59? Is that the GPM diff gears the guys have been talking about? They are supposed to be available now, and GPM is stating they are "supposed" to able to stand up to modified MLST. We'll see if that comes tru right

Wish someone would make some better outer gearcase drive cups! Since I use CAW wheel axles I'm ok there and I use MIP center CVD axles which eliminates the gearcase cup, so just need the left and right sides.

well back on topic... of the 3 axles that i got which actually went thru the bearings, 2 of them had an amazing amount of slop.... this is the first time i used those losi jrx-s shims on my axles!!! normally i keep them for shimming the pinion gears...the locknut keeps falling off otherwise!

well done gpm!
