Bought some lunsford kit to my TEK car..and they where "regular" not "small RC18"...so they are fat...they wont fit in topdeck without dremeling...
So i found some @ home ASC6271 fiting ACE even with Lunsford ballstuds..
so if you are out, or cant wait for a kit, buy some loose t-buckles and then thoose, it is 12 in a P..
dont miss to juice up the buckles with some lubricant
Done...Left Stock Lunsford, right AE smaller B-cups

This mod is done on my TEK18X"b"... im using AE 4/40 ballstud a long one, to minimize the sloppy link between Servo and bellcrank
the ballends on this one is Lunsford for the RC18T but you can use ASC6271 on the whole car, just buy some turnbuckles..

Thomas, what body are you planning to use? Would the Mini Inferno body fit? I am thinking of stretching mine, put some wide track on it and then mini inferno wheels and a Jconcepts mini inferno body. I have to rebuild it since I had a small lipo fire in the car I had 1st and second degree burns on my arm but it is ok now. My car is literally destroyed but I am cleaning now the parts and remove the anodized surfaces of the alloy parts. Picture of the destroyed car you'll find below:

I wanted to charge the lipo's but suddenly I smelled some glue or that kind of smell. I was in my barn where all my tools, my bike, my boats and my other buildingmaterials are. So I looked to my car which was hooked on the charger and suddenly there was a fire burst out of the lipo's. I grabbed the car and the lipo's exploded while I had the car in my hand. My right arm war on fire so I throwed away the car out side the barn and putted my arm under the fountain in the backyard. It was swollen and red and had white spots. The lipo's were smokin and started to fire again. My wife throwed water over the car to put out the fire. My arm was really hurting so I cooled it down for more than 10minutes with cold water. I have treated my arm for several days with the juice (XanGo) I am a distributor for since the people in Southeast Asia do that for hundreds of years when the have skinproblems. Today my arm have only a few spots/scars but is completely healed. Luckely.
I am going to strip my car this week. I have ordered new shocktowers, alloy arms, 4mm offset rims for the Tamiya mini, new stainless steel screws and new bearings.. Next step is to de-anodize all the blue parts and to polish them .Once polish I'll put a clear coating over it protect the shiny surfaces.

I am doing ok Alfred. thanks for your concern. Can't wait to have my ride rebuild. I also need to order all the electronics new servo, esc, batteries and receiver. I have still a CC 8000KV motor left so I will put that one in the ride when it is restored.

Just kidding man......seriously hope your arm is alright. Please post up some pics of the new and improved ride. Good thing it happened in an open area and not in your home.
