I will have to get some pictures up of my diggity designs oval chassis. It did great this weekend, it felt like it was on rails. I have to say, the multiplex digi polo 4 servo is now my favorite servo ever! I can not belive how well it did this weekend and last weekend and with no servo saver. It blows my old hitec hs-65mg servos out of the water (even though hitec does make the multiplex servos). When this car was running, it was awesome, however I did break quiet a few parts. My new exotek sterring hubs did not last at all, I had my ball stud in the outer hole and in the first qual. the hub broke on the right side at the stud. I switched both studs to the inside one and in the second heat it broke on the left hub at the stud. I switched back to the stock hubs, the third qual went great, but the amb system quit counting me at lap 20. For the feature everyone had already decided to invert the field so I did get to start on pole. However a wreck infront of me put me out of the race with a snapped ball stud at lap 7. Thats just the way it goes though.
For anyone wondering here is what I was running:
Tekin Mini Rage esc
Mamba 4200 brushless motor
900 mah 3s lipo from my helimax axe helicopter positioned at the center of the battery tray
Multiplex digi polo 4 servo with no servo saver
Trued low profile foam tires with no traction compound
The track was a flat carpet oval (crc carpet) with around a 100' run line I was geared 14/60 and the motor temps was around 100* all night. If anyone would like, I will post my setup sheet.
