New Spashett Recoil

Well, I finally retired the MRS4 and she's now a shelf queen...Here's the latest ride: CF chassis, ball diffs at both ends, and aluminum body shocks. The chassis is made for 7cells, so I'll be doing some battery reconfiguring, as well. It's too early to tell how it'll run, but looking at all the adjustments, it's gonna be fun to find out!

BTW, thanks Alfred for letting me drive that M18. The talk that night opened the idea of a new car to my wife!! (It'll probably be the last one for a loooong time!!)

I'm going to start with the Big Block and 7 cells...I asked at Debbies if it would be under powered, and they thought that would be pretty good for it. Dude showed me his car, and he's running a 280size brushless with 6 cells...It will take up to a 380 size, but we'll see how it works with the BB first.

I haven't done anything yet...I literally just opened the box. I'm going to start with everything set as it is, and go from there. I'll check the screws, and the shock oil...then install the electronics. It should be easier to set up with independent suspension...maybe I can keep this one out of the fence

Yeah...it came as a roller. They had a RTR, but I didn't want the radio. It had a composite chassis, gear diffs and plastic shocks. I think the motor was a 370 size.

Yeah, I don't think it comes as a kit. It looks like you can adjust everything, except caster...You can even adjust rear toe (similar to associated pan car caster adjustment). The spur gear can be swapped, as well.

Correction...You can adjust caster...The parts bag has extra front uprights (knuckles) marked 4 degree....it has 6 degree installed on the car.

Not yet...I'm using the gear from the MRS4...The servo might be tricky.
