The steel universals should have came with its own threaded screws......you shouldnt have to snip anything. Could you take a pic and show us.

O.K.

First just to clarify they are HPI frint universals and they did not come with screws.

I'll get a pic of them soon, and also I've gotten the deans all wired up and ready to go. I'll post a pic of everything in a few minutes.

I'll try to explain with this pic.

The screw goes in where the red arrow is pionting right. Well the screw went all the way through that piece and touched the inside part of the knuckles where the green arrow is pointing. So not being able to tighten it down all the way it left the wheel loose. So I had to snip the screw downn to get the ability to tighten the screw in.

And one more note, the right side fitted in fine. it was just on the left where i had the problem.

I dont have any screws at the bottom of my knuckles.......but it shouldnt matter now since you got the innerwheel on there....did you use loctite by any chance.......if not just apply a small drop on the screw.....i use blue, which is strong enough.

I don't have any at the moment but any way I'll get some pics with the deans and you can see the shock better with the body off too.
