What type of charger do you have for battery?

I'm going to need to replace my 10 yr old charger and wondering what ones available out there.

I've had my eyes on e-station model 301DX just because my mate has it.

What do you have and what do you recommend? I don't want overly priced one but just a one that can do a job well

I'm recharging NIMH NIcd for Sub-C 2/3a and few AA. max volt 7.2V

Thanks for your comment in advance

Here is what I have:

http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/D...ProdID=DYN4053

It works great for what I use it for. I only charge nicads (for hpi roto-start) and my 2/3A sized micro pack. It charges nicad's, nimh and li-po's. I have never used lipo or the DC current however.

I wanted one with a decent enough display, not some $20 plug in the wall and walk away for 8-12 hrs or whatever. It came recommended from one of my LHS's and it wasnt overly expensive. It was around $100 canadian when I bought mine.

I use a Duratrax Piranha AC/DC digital peak charger for my micro battery packs and so far it's proven to work extremely well. I also use an Integy 16x5 V6 DC charger but I sometimes get a low battery warning for some reason on my micro packs and I end up going back to the Duratrax charger.

This is what i have and yes i do use all of them...sometimes.

Two MRC Super Brain 959's
One MRC Super Brain 976
One Dynamite Twin Peak Charger

In this hobby i recommend starting off with the Super Brains 959's or the 960's.......and also the Pirahna charger as well.......

Sorry to ask you all this but could somebody be able to go to this link and find me a bang for buck type charger? I couldn't any of brands that you guys mentioned and the only reason i'm getting from this place is that the shipping is cheaper for me with other stuff..

Again, sorry to make you do the work for me (if you are doing it) but I just don't have no idea what so ever for what to choose...

The LRP Pulsar Competition is a wonderful DC charger that charges, discharges and cycles battery packs. It also has a motor run feature which comes in handy too. I had one and loved it. The Pulsar Sport is also nice but doesn't have all the features of the Competition model.

The Team Orion DC charger also looks nice and I've seen a few local guys uses these.

The CE Pit Bull X3 is another DC charger that is worth a look.

The Eagle Racing chargers are nice and they have an AC/DC version so unlike the ones above you do not need to also buy a 12V power supply. Lots of features as well.

Thanks SteveM!!

I had a look at them and they all look nice really!!

The one problem is that they are a bit pricey for me...

What I looked at is this model

Multiplex LN-5014 DC Multi-charger (Li-Po/Nimh/Lead).

What ya think? I heard one guy said it's a good model but not sure though.

Tell me what you people think. Thanks!!

The Multiplex charger looks nice but I've never seen one and can't comment.
