cool, glad that worked out.

Hey, have you ever seen anyone try to run an under-body antenna on a 1/10th scale? Does it limit the range too much? I always wreck my antennas when i crash. I want to run an under-body like my micro, just havnt tried it yet. Any idea if it will work out ok?

You should be fine with running an internal antenna, what band are you on, AM, FM, or DSM.

Its running on the AM band. Cheap tamiya electronics from a m03m suzuki swift.

I dont think ive ever seen someone do it on a 1/10 scale before. I would imagine it would work the same but then again the 1/10 scale's do go a bit farther than these mini's do. I used to have an E-Maxx a while back and since it had a truck body I ran the antenna out the back window so it was pointing straight back. It kept the antenna clear of everything if it ended up on its lid.

PS. Think I toasted the motor yesterday. Its making a grinding noise now. The motor wasn't in good shape when I got it so im not surprised.

FM should do much better then AM, and DSM would be better then both, i have gone a long way with DSM and it sucks to walk that far.

Yea I know, I just dont have the money to spend on stuff like that right now. Thats why I got a mini-t. Theyre nice and cheap when things break.

So I need a couple small stupid parts and dont want to buy whole kits of things just for one piece. Can either of you help me out with that?

I need a bushing for my aluminum steering linkage, not sure if the stock stuff has bushings but if it does im sure theyre the same.

Need a bottom shock mount end for the losi aluminum shocks.

The steering turnbuckle that goes from the linkage to the servo saver and a servo saver that will work with an aftermarket servo.

Steering servo mounts.

I do need a battery that will fit in the battery tray but thats not a priority at the moment, would be nice though.

Some cotter pins to hold the body in place.

I believe thats it...

You can always shoo goo the servo to keep it in place.

Right now I have it double sided sticky taped in there and the top mount is wedging it in place. It works fine but I just want it to be right.
