... and i blew the motor.

yep, i think i cooked it. stock high torque motor, the gear mesh was a little off, because my spur was shot... anyway i was 5 minutes into a 1200 pack, and i just died. if i spin the motor one way, it makes a clicking noise, the other way it just feels rough. im not getting anything out of it at all, even directly to the battery : ( i guess theres nothing else this could be?

well, i want another motor with good torque, id much rather have more power than top speed... and i don't think im ready (or have the money) for a mamba, or anything that crazy...

ive been looking at this:
http://www.amazon.com/Venom-Group-In.../dp/B0006O6GDU

the stock motor on the pp is a 370, correct?

how do you think this will compare to the original?

can i use the same motor mount?

sheesh. at least im learning about stuff as i break it

thanks

If i were you(i was you my stock motor fried too) I would get the baja motor. IT it almost a direct drop in.Light modification is requird. It is better than stock, but the air holes are blocked by the motor mount.

Will the venom is nothing but a mabuchi motor like the stock motor on the PP......same thing as the Speed 300 by graupner, dont let it fool you man because all your ending up paying for the motor is the label. And yes the venom will be a direct drop in.
