which charger are you going with?

i'm just getting into the hobby, and i think having to wait 10 hours for 10-15 minutes of racing time is a little rediculous. i would be very interested in going with a different battery/connector setup, but i am very ignorant to what the options are. what the heck is a lipo anyways?

thanks for any info, i think i will keep reading as much as possible to figure this all out.

its all i like to do man....so no worries....just like you i had to start somewhere as well. If i were you i would use Deans ultra on the charging ends of the plugs....... Please take a look at the pic.......and just to let you know you dont have to find exact connectors for the batt and charging lead, just as long as theres a kyosho style plug you can just solder on a deans on there......

ok, i thought i had it, then i looked at the photo. now i'm confused.

i thought that i would cut the wire from the battery and put the deans style plug on the end and then be able to plug directly into the pirhana. but it looks like the photo suggests that the wire from the charger is the old style male plug (kyosho?) which plugs into another old style female plug that is soldered/connected to the deans ultra connector male. were does the deans plug connect to, and what is actually connected to the battery?

i am running the stock 7200 battery that i bought at the shack btw.
thnaks again for any help! i want to be fast charging ASAP!!

Ok i think i know whats going on.you dont need deans plugs unless you want them the charger comes with a Kyosho plug most ppl change to deans because they halndle the amps better.you can cut all the plugs off and solder on new ones.oh and just to confuse you more the propulse uses mini tamiya plugs
