ah I see. I only got this cos my motor is Tamiya and hoping there is no issue like this but now I have.... Anyway I will try other esc and see how it goes! So any suggestion for cheap ones apart from that guy?

I picked up a Moped V16R esc for under $40 brand new on a recommendation from guys on the R/C Crawler forums several months ago. I've since seen them on eBay and there are several with a "Buy It Now" option starting from $25.95 shipped from Hong Kong. Not too bad for the price and so far mine works perfect. It's also fairly small.

Cool!! I can get it for $32.50. That's good

Also the other problem I just found is that my 27T pinion does not quite bite to 58T spur.. I sanded off mount block so I can't get rid any more... any other ways to overcome this please? is there bigger pinion but same teeth? still gotta fit to teeth on spur so i think not....
