Just got my baja motor

It seems fast but no real concenses... My spur ggear is chewed up, and well that about it. I am getting a gear set this week. I will gear it low because right now it gear 15,stock. So the bottom end is not that great.
And my battery hasnt been run in a month. So its probably not doing so good.

I ran it this morning and man it sure is fast. I am going to gear it down a bit. It is going faster that the old motor but has the same torque. This is all while being geared 15,stock. IT will still go faster than the stock motor. Went in prettty easily. You do have to cut up the little tab on the chasis.

if your using foam tape to still keep the electronics on that i suggest using shoo goo to keep them on there...........this will allow more playtime and you will never have to worry about them coming off......and you can still take them off to clean and reposition if needed.

Took it out for a bash session. It goes so much faster. The torque on the street is better than the stock motor. You need to set the gear set perfect or else the speed will greatly be affected. Offroad it is good, but it doesnt seem fast at all. I am going to gear it down to just below stock. Bigger spur by one tooth. It does get hot but it seems to be cooler than the stock motor. THe esc is definatly hotter that with stock. Also the motor plate cover the air hole so that sucks. It sucks because my spur is shot. I may put a duct in the body so the motor will be cooler. IT just looks so cool.
