I didn't! I watched a steady decline over a period of about two years! Even if that weren't the case of course I can leave when the going gets tough!

As I stated earlier, the primary interest is not in racing these cars. If it were, we would witness greater turnouts plain and simple. By the way, how many 1/18 onroad cars raced at Pottbelly's?

Regardless of how many people race on the east coast, that says nothing for the west and the truth of the matter is that this class is nearly extinct here.

It would be nice if the WWS could resuscitate this class but I am not sure this company has the marketing or the sheer size to do so. "Dr. I think that we have a cardiac arrest!" LOL

It looks like a very nice car. Will this car be more easily attainable than the previous WWS? Are we sure that this car will be sold as more than a prototype?

It has hex outdrvies.. so im wondering what size hexes those are.. I mean it might increase are rim and tire choice..

Well maybe not if the only choice are 1/10th.

I guess thats the biggest factor for me.. Tires.

Finally the WWS car is out. Price is 170€ which ist approx. 180 - 190 $ US. So the car is a bit cheaper than the Xray M18pro. This was a surprise for me, because i thougth due to the lower amount of expected sales and fewer produced cars it might be more expensive than the Xray.

I have been in contact with the American Importer over the last few months (Intrepid RC). It will be $200 +$10 shipping here in the US because of the insane shipping fees (so on this side of the pond the Pro is cheaper). He doesn't want to buy them in bulk as he needs to know how much audience there is.

Im still waiting for him to send me a official press release or at least newer pictures than what is shown on WWS site of the final version before I post at 1/18th.

G-Shock, do you know where I can find these? Again of the FINAL production version. Not the prototype shown earlier. Maybe even a exploded view as well (not sure WWS uses a CAD program).

There are no other photos available right now. I might order one within the next half year, im not sure about that yet. As the first photos from customers appear in german forums i will post them here.
If i get one i will use it in left side battery confguration. I was told this is possible with this car.

Thanks G. If you have contact with the WWS people in some way, ask them to update their website. Geez. Its going to be hard for me to get the larger magazines/sites to pick this up if the companies site still says a release of last year.

BTW: Whats your reason for wanting the batteries left side? Torque steer is with shaft drives, not belt.

It's simply because ist use 5cell side by side Packs on all my other 1/18th cars (MRS4/M18/M18MT) i just want my batteries to be interchangeable. That's the only reason.
The batteries will be on the right side and servo, motor, ESC, and reciever on the left.
