Tiny receiver

Has anyone of heard of using one of these receivers in a car?
http://www.banebots.com/pc/RC-RX-4/RX-GWS4-NH
It could be the start of something good for a Micro T. It certainly is compact and lite. And inexpensive too. But I don't know if I would trust it in a car. Although I used a lot of these when I was flying. I thrashed them pretty hard, and they always worked well for me. How if I can find an equally compact brushed ESC with reverse that is suitable for the Micro.....well maybe.
There are plenty of servos around that would work well.
Thanks
Ron

This one is 75. I am just wondering if it will hold up under the stress of a car environment.

Your in luck, mine just came in the mail today with a channel 74 for under $30 shipped. My friend has been using one with his KO radio with no problem, while I plan on using this with a JR radio in my micros.

That's what I want to do, in a MICRO T. I have a JR XR3 that I want to use. what are you going to do for an ESP and servo?
Thanks

Toms RC on ebay. You can possibly get it cheaper from banebots, but after buying a crystal, might come out even.

I meant micro 4wd (M18). I possibly would try it in a Micro T if I had one to try it in. Hence looking for used Micro T.

Now as for the esc buddy, have you looked at the Novak Spy, should be small enough to fit in there with no problems and as for the servo-i think people are looking at the hs 55 i think.

the reciever if bought off of banebots you get 10 % off if you put in the coupon from the top (newweb) so you basically get shipping for free or something. i was just wondering if anyone has ever used a transmitter like they have (shaped like the air transmitter) i wonder how effective they would be.

I never found Toms RC either. Thanks for the link. I am going to write to Castle Creations to see if they make that little BERG Rx on the 75 band. And also if they make an ESC with brake and reverse suitable for our cars with brushed motors.
Thanks
Ron
