well i was just wondering if somebody wanted to make a friend. i recently lost one of my drive pins and was wondering if anyone that has the cvds has any extra drivepins. i might even be able to paypal some money. how much is the minimum for paypal? anyways...
got a dremel cutting wheel? got a locking pliers? go to your local hardware store with your remaining drivepin. take along one of the clips that hold your car top to the chassis. show the guy at the hardware store the clip for the chassis. tell him you want one that has the thickness of the drivepin. take the new clip home and use your dremel to cut the straight side off in a length like the drivepin. a locking pliers works well to hold the pin while you cut.please wear eye protection. you may also want to take one of your wheel retaining nuts. my ace sells the exact same nut with the plastic locking ring for 25 cents. the clip should cost no more than 10 cents. no shipping no waiting and you're driving again.
even easier, if you have any extra body pins laying around that are a little thicker than the small stock pins, well just cut the straight ends to size, works great and will keep you from being sidelined
