Problem with MIP CVD Pin...

I am having an issue with one of my pins in the MIP CVD's keeps coming out.

I am running a mamba 6800 and after about 5+ min, the pin keeps sliding out, and then it rubs the plastic. I can use a pair of plyers and push it back in...but on the next run, the same thing.

See this pic for a visual:
It is the pin that is vertical in the diagram.

What can i do?

Thank you

KM

MIP CVD Fix

I have used two fixes for this problem. First one is simple: Locktite the locking screw in and apply a small amount of Shoe Goo to the pin ends. Second fix is to grind down the pin in the middle on one side so the set screw tightens down into that notch.

You can also take a piece fo heat shrink tubing and srink it over the axle where the pin goes in and it will keep it from coming out ....and protect the joint ...
