How do those work on a dirt track and in the air? Do they make it a bit more stable and easier to drive?

I always had a hard time with the mini-t on a hard clay/dirt track I put it on a couple times. Especially with speed 300 on 7 cells. It was a handful, and hard to turn accurately. Sailed over the large 8 foot triple nicely though

I mounted some bigger tires - they have loads of grip.

studysession: Love those monster tires on your mini-t. can you tell me if they are much bigger than the stock rears? i'm thinkning of buying the RC18T when it is available and want a set of those all the way around to give it more ground clearance and make it a bit more monsterish when the stadium set-up will be too low.

Thanks!

Yes it gives over 1cm almost 1.5cm more ground clearence. They also give more grip for wheelies when on the pavement. I am very glad I change to them instead of the stockers.

I've been to the dekalb track a few times with my tc3. I thought about putting the 540 micro back together and bringing it there to spank some 1/10'ers this winter. I haven't run much of anything for awhile. Just the mini-t and t3 a month or two ago.

I spent a bunch of time at the Joliet indoor offroad track with my t3 and mini-t last winter, I might try to make it there sometimes this winter as well. I have a tc3 that is awaiting building of the O kit that I'd love to run there.
