Tires Tires Tires
Waiting for my RS4 Micro to come in...was wondering what tires do you guys use? Rubber, foam, etc? Which one you guys prefer? Where do you get them?
Does wheels and tires from the Xray m18 fite the RS4 Micro?

I use HPI Pro Foams, TRC's are nice as well......the inner rims that the mrs4 uses will not work with the m18 but the rubbers and foams will.

I guess because I don't have the MRS4 yet, I don't really understand how the wheel assembly work.
I'm only use to 1/10 where all touring car wheels will fit. Any more explaination? You're saying the tire will work on both m18 and MRS4 but no the wheel?
Where do you find your foams? I was looking at GRP 1/18 Micro Foam, so I guess those won't work with the MRS4? But then again I also see the HPI MRS4 wheelset in the m18 parts list for this online store, so I don't fully get what will and will not work.

The MRS4 uses an inner rim the keys onto the dogbones and is secured by a single screw. The rubber tires are glued to the outer rims which slips over the inner rim. You can alter the width slightly as well. I recommend you go to the HPI web site and download and read the manual.
The Xray outer rims from the original M18 will slip onto the HPI inner rims. the new M18 Pro rims do not fit as they use a hex hub similar to 10th scale sedans.

I see....
I guess I was more referring to the m18 wheels not the m18 Pro which uses the hex. I guess m18 and the micro RS4 outter wheels are compatible then.

They're like half the price of the HPI Pro Foams and Italian made... you know what cars are made in Italy

I might give it a shot. But first I need to pick up the Micro RS4 on Saturday and see how many sets of tires it comes with (it suppose to come with the Exotek generation 1 chassis or something like that, not a lot of info on that chassis?).
Doing a quick search, seems like people love these tires for 1/10 scale. Maybe I should try them on my 1/10 too

OK, sorry to interject here, but you mentioned THE chasis,
I have one. I love it. It looks bad-@ss! Funny thing is, I was at the local hobby shop today looking for RC10GT parts and I asked the guy if they had any old MRS4 stuff at all. He laughed, he said, "Sure, i have (1) count it, one, part". lol I laughed and asked what it was. Its an Epic, EXO150. I couldnt believe it. I hadnt seen one (in person) since I bought mine like 6-8 years ago. lol
if anyone wants it, holler, paypal, and I'll pick it up. Judging by the dust on the package, it isnt goint anywhere any time soon. lol
now if I could only remember how much I spent on mine. lol I think they were asking $45 for theirs, but as old as it is, they may negotiate, who knows?
