im not sure how long that will make your car, but i would also pick up some traxxas slipper pegs to lock the center diff

if u plan to go big so soon, u should buy some spare axles too because youll probably snap them

im assuming you already have batteries, radio and ESC?
you might want to get a reversing y-harness for 4 wheel steering

o, and but how do u plan to attach shocks on? i dont think stock shocks will work well with your stretch
youll probably need tmaxx shocks

yea, they replace the balls
its the easiest and reversible way to lock the diff

you could also jbweld everything.... a locked center diff is a must

thanks for info I been gone for awhile now and havent touched my tlt been buying other tamiya kits, but ran it the other day and found out annoying that center diff is man all it does is spin, spin, spin, and waste my energy.........

ka pow this thing actually runs better with the locked diff this is awesome man. I put in there traxxas slippers pegs and superglued it and man this thing can finally run better.

The slipper pegs were a joke for me. No matter what I did, the diff loosened up with the 1st or 2nd pull of the trigger.

Forget a reversible procedure, JB Weld is the way to go. (IMHO)
