EBAY Alert

Watch out for an Ebayer named MarkWayne. He's out there selling abunch of brushless stuff. He's still selling the Feaigo/Tunderbird9 combo for use with a Micro-T even though it won't work. He also turns into a big A-- when I tried to discuss the problem with him.

The whole story unfolded in the post below this about my thunderbird problem. It's not actually a ESC problem, but the application of the wrong type of ESC (airplane) to the application.

Okay gotcha, i remember now.......why did he sell you an airplane esc for a surface model......I take it that he told you it would work for your application.

Yes, thats exactly why I bid on it. It's funny being new to this stuff after so long, its easy to get messed up. Castle Creations does show that ESC under the airplane section, but doesnt specifically say NOT to use it with cars. It all sees pretty clear in hindsight. The real issue is that I clearly, repeatedly described the problem and he just doesnt care. He thinks its the use of stock electronics (which I told him I'm NOT using) as the problem. Worse yet, he's still selling the combo.

Ah well, things are looking up. Just had my second baby today. Another healthy boy.

Well you can always sell the esc and get something thats made for surface models........i do know that airplane esc's function differently then surface model esc's. Congrats on the new baby.
