Airtronics MX-A Radio

I am going to get this from towerhobbies:

Airtronics MX-A 2-Channel AM/1 94091Z/96305Z ESC 27MHz

I wanted to be sure the ESC would work with the stock micro rs4 motor. It says this speed control is ment for 18 turn and higher. Anyone know if it will work?

And i dont know if your the one thats doing a 540 project but you should have no probs running any micro or 540 stock motor up to the esc's turn limit.

Yes, thats me. Thats good to know that I won't need to upgrade. The one that comes with the radio says:

96305Z Speed Control-
Power Supply: 7.2V-8.4V
Maximum Current: 360A (fwd) 180A (rev)
Continuous: 90A (fwd) 45A (rev)
Voltage Loss: 4.5m Ohm (fwd) 9m Ohm (rev)
Length: 7/8" (23mm)
Width: 1.31" (33mm)
Height: 1.05" (26.7m)

Any suggestions on the batteries?

I use Gp 1100's for my 540 micro and i can say its a blast on the straightaway. If you need me to post some pics then i can. The esc has some good specs.

if you can i would chose a shotgun style pack.........so that way you will have room putting the esc at the bottom of the chassis....take a look at the pic.

I will once i go to the 540. With the Aktion kit you need to make a custom battery. Which battery would you use with the stock motor?

Thanks, I apreciate it. It looks like I am about 3-4 years behind. I have ran searches but never came up with anything solid. Also, because of how old some of the posts are, I wasn't sure how true some of the info was.
