What servo to get?

I have futaba s3003 but should I upgrade to some other model? Like metal or micro servo? I'm just using s3003 for 540 and just stock ones but if I should then I would like to upgrade. Please let me know. Thanks.

If you want you can go with a micro servo...im using the S3102mg......it works well and it also saves some space on the bottom of the chassis as well.

I see. I better go shopping for one of those. So that will be the best choice? Any hitec or other brand should I get?

Its basically what you can afford.....but the futaba's are nice......since they dont have centering issues like the hitec's.

i'm trying to find that s3102 from www.rcmart.com or www.amainhobbies.com
but I cannot find one.

Is there any similar product available from those two sites? Otherwise I have to shop from towerhobbies and that means I have to wait till end of October to get with oter bits...

So i'm really trying to get one from either one of those two sites. So hi-tec isn't good.. any other futaba or other servo to recommend please?

I currently have the HS-85mg micro servo in my car and the HS-81 micro in my girlfriends car. Both seem ok for now, but I have heard lots about the centering issues and the HS-81mg. I purely bought the HS81 so I could see how the "preferred" servo as per HPI fits. I know the HS-85 required me to be a bit creative in how I got it in there (dremel is your friend).

I went to do a Google search to look for some information about the S3102mg and I have to say is ...that Alfred guy is everywhere! LOL

thought u would get a kick out of that Alfred
