which pinion? e-revo vxl pinion compatible with stock spur?

Is this the same motor that comes in the Traxxas truck? I have never heard of this motor until now. After looking it up, I think you will have too many problems with it. I don't think you will get it to fit the truck anyway. There are better, cheaper alternatives available.

Go to Google and look up "VXL motor". You will see people complaining about overheating.

I own a mini-revo vxl powered and of course it own water cause it's sealed and oring protected too...

I run a few time under water, always as smooth as the first day.

Feel free to upgrade your 1/16(1/10) with this nice thing but not a 1/18 !!! cause torque is awesome and lots of 1/18 going to brake under this perfomance !!! Velineom380 Brushless (3S,3M) is really a nice invest !!

I agree with Russ, I highly doubt the vxl motor will fit. Wouldn't hurt to try tho
