Thats a great offer but I'd need more driver boards from 94091Z's. Buying that servo just to rip the board out certainly wouldn't be the way to go. I do believe you can mod a hitec HS50 or HS55(don't recall which) to work quite nicely in the Micro-T, you take the two final gears out of the stock servo and swap them into the Hitec servo which allows you to use the factory servo saver.

It must be the HS 50 then, cause I bought the HS 55 and opened it to do what you mentioned and realized the gear work is pretty different looking which I guess brings me to the next question, do the gear work have to be the same in order for the final 2 to be swapped or some variation is ok??

while this is true i would like you to do 300mah x .02 .. thats right thats 6 amps continuous discharge.

If the cells are rated at 300mah each and you use two in parallel then the total discharge capacity is 600mah, they are 2C cells so the total safe current drain of the pack is 600mah multiplied by two, or 1200mah which is 1.2 amps.

Here's the breakdown on Powering the Micro-T...

Note: All due credit for this info to LBRC from other Forums (if I'm misquoting anything, let me know).

Firstly, the Motor can draw up to 2.1A max. So if you want the absolute highest possible amount of power/torque from your Micro-T, you need to get a battery pack with a high enough discharge rate to put out that 2.1a.

In terms of Lipo, the "C" rating is a multiplier for the pack rating. A 250mah battery rated at 10C means you can safely discharge at a rate of 250ma x 10 = 2500ma = 2.5amps. Such a pack would be ideal for the Micro-T, but so far the ones that people have been reporting on (like the E-Tec 250mah) is a bit too wide to fit in the battery compartment of the Micro-T without some dremeling.

I'm on the hunt for a Lipo cell that'll fit the stock compartment and still put out at least the 2.1amp and I'm hoping to hear good news soon!

The 2S LiPo pack I am using is 160mah and seems to handle the load of the brushed or brushless motor just fine. It warms up just a little without getting anywhere near hot. I believe its 10C constant and 20C surge.

I have also ordered some 20C 250mah cells, they should be here anyday but may be a little tough to fit in the stock compartment, my 160mah cells fit no problem.

Ideally though I think a battery that can handle between 2 and 3 amps is what we want. I also expect I want a battery like the 20C 250mah cells for when my faster brushless motor arrives.

The E-tec cells people are trying are only rated at 5C which is why they aren't performing as well as expected. I recommend people avoid the E-tec cells for now unless they find some higher rated cells.

does anyone have a link to a "good" lipo pack to fit the micro-t?

also, will a 7.4v lipo pack work with the stock motor/esc/tx or will it fry the stock stuff?

Apparently this is a good pack and it fits the compartment.

I have not used it but am considering it.
