I dont own a mini t, so take this for what its worth. I would go with a speed 300 size motor over the elite. About 1/4th the cost and lot more power. There are several options on this size motor. The orion big block is not worth the $. Especially on a mini t where you dont need the micro rs4 motor plate. A graupner speed 300 will usually run you 15-20 bucks and a wattage 370, option 3, more like 12-15. The elite mod will get you more runtime however, so it comes down to what you want more. Great runtime and decent power. Or crazy power and decent runtime. Hope that helps, and have fun

ok, heres my delema, i have this screw that is extremely tight and i can t get it out so i think i will need a new motor mount anyway since the screw that is tight is one of the two screws that hold the motor in. so, does any of those big blocks come with a motor plate and will it work with everything else being stock?

I dont think there is a kit out yet for the mini t that comes with a motor plate. I think you can achieve the results you are looking for, for far less than $75. I think a speed 300 in a mini t is a fairly simple mod. Read the mini t forum for this info. If you cant get the screw out, you can try drilling it out or just get a stock plate I guess. Then go with a graupner speed 300 or you could get a tuned big block from several places. K3 or Rabid. Read the forums for these as well. Anyway, good luck and have fun.
