I was under the impression that it was valuable to use the litts sine each cell is capable of more volts? I honestly have not looked into it at all yes.

I am looking for extreme bashing, and wowing the others at the offroad track.

I went to a track for the first time, and many brought their T's out, even the 280BB motored truck on 6 cells could BARELY clear the doubles, that my t3 cleared with nothing but ease at half throttle. It would be nice to go out there and clear the tripple with this little thing.

If 6 cells can run it well, I'd just leave it at that. I have enough trouble keeping nimh's in one piece, I run nicd's most of the time because of that.

The real advantage of Lithiums is, if you use the right cells (new generation 1200's, or 850's like I use) you can get 10 cell performance for 1/2 to 1/4 of the weight of Nicads or NiMH's.

The accelleration and speed are much better with them compared to a "round cell" powered car.

The downside I've found, is with that much power, and so little weight, if you're on a high-traction surface the front end just stays in the air all the time under accelleration. I've learned to keep the Rx and ESC in the rear of the tub, and the batts as far up front as I can when I run LiPo's.

Ok, well, we will just have to see how well it performs on 6 cell nicd's. Has any testing been done on that? I am horrible with batts, and nicds are the only thing I seem not able to burn down a building with.

Looking forward to the release and more info and user reviews to stream out.

I think it's the comp - the motor Kv's are in the part #'s, so there is most likely a xx54 (5500 motor) and xx42 and xx36 somewhere.

Hacker B20 mini-t Pinion??

Hello Shawn

I am running a Hacker B20 and Shulze Future brushless ESC.

I pulled the hacker from my Hornet helicopter and the pinion does not quite match the mini-t. the Hacker motor has a pretty thick diameter shaft. can you recomend a pinion gear that will fit this motor and mate correctly to the mini-t spur?

or can you suggest a different spur that can be modified to fit the minin-t?

I am ready to go with a 3 cell 1800 li-po pack !! :-))))

I don't own any Hacker products, so I'm not familiar w/shaft sizes of them.

That's why we made the CM-20 motors w/a 2mm shaft - so the same pinions that come with the truck can be used.
