Warrior/Lehner system available right now from www.b-p-p.com
Mamba system can be pre-ordered there as well.

As far as the motors go - BOTH have more power than you could ever use in a micro.
The Mamba motor (CM-20) is $90
The Lehner is around $130?

The Warrior controller is bigger and heavier than the Mamba 25, and the Mamba 25 will have TONS more features and programming options.

I work for the company that makes the Mamba system, and it's my baby, so of course I'm a little biased - just being honest.

From what I've heard of the Hacker mini car ESC, ours is MUCH smoother, and much more programmable as well.

Not annoying at all - that's why I'm here!

And what kind of price would we be looking at to get started with a Mamba setup?

Motor, esc, batts, charger.

Nicely priced and matched packages would be great for brushless newbies like ourselves.

$139.95 for plug-and-play motor and controller.

If you want to go lithiums, Troy at www.b-p-p.com is the man to set you up w/batts and charger.

For regular cells, United R/C or Blind can get you what you need.

Hi Martin,

If you're going from bone stock - you'll need to replace the steering servo, remove the Rx/ESC combo block, and add your own Rx. Then, just bolt in the motor, plug in the new ESC and you're good for some 30+mph fun!

I put together another one a few nights ago - took me about 15 minutes in all.

Nitroboy - yes, you will need different radio equipment to run a brushless set-up.

OK guys, I finally got to complete testing, and below are my general recomendations for what motor combo to use depending on your track/speed needs.

These are based almost ENTIRELY on my own personal opinion of what is "too fast" or "too slow" for street bashing or actual track competition. This isn't the word of God, it's just a guideline to help you make your choice if you're pre-ordering "blind" without anyone else around who's driving it to get an opinion from.

For the Mini T:

5500Kv motor
4-6 cells for tight offroad track racing
4-8 cells for large offroad, or dirt oval track racing
8-10 cells for non-track all out speed
2 cell Lithium packs for large offroad, or dirt oval track racing
3 cell Lithium packs for non-track rediculous speed

4300Kv motor
4-6 cells for tight offroad track racing
6-8 cells for large offroad track racing
6-10 cells for large dirt oval racing
8-10 cells for non-track all out speed
2 cell lithium for all offroad or dirt oval tracks
3 cell lithium for large dirt oval, or non-track all out speed

3600Kv Motor
6-8 cells for tight offroad track racing
6-8 cells for "Monster" or "Crawler" conversions
7-12 cells for large dirt oval track racing
10-12 cells for all out speed
2 cell lithium packs for tight offroad racing
3 cell lithium packs for large offroad tracks, and all out speed

For the Micro RS4, or X-ray M18:

5500Kv Motor
4-6 cells for tight track carpet racing
4-8 cells for large carpet/asphalt oval racing
8-10 cells for non-track all out speed
2 cell Lithium for large carpet/asphalt oval racing
3 cell Lithium for non-track rediculous speed

4300Kv Motor
4-8 cells for tight carpet track racing
6-10 cells for large carpet/asphalt oval
8-12 cells for non-track all out speed
2 cell Lithium for any carpet/asphalt racing
3 cell lithium for non-track all out speed

3600Kv Motor
6-10 cells for tight carpet track racing
8-12 cells for large carpet/asphalt track racing
2 cell Lithium for any carpet/asphalt racing
3 cell Lithium for large carpet/asphalt oval

Hope this helps,
Shawn
