Racing in SoCal is finally making a comeback!

A lot of people seem to have left approximately four years ago and have made a return. It's pretty strange... Could it be due to the economy and families taking less vacations as a result?

that was on the tarmac at camarillo airport last march

I had the most fun auto-x'ing my 97 with speedventura's in fontana at cal speedway though, got about 50 runs in there, no corner working, just hot laps!

the **** they do at camarillo airport I only got 12 runs in, and had to work the course 3 times, for 75 bucks! Garbage, but I'll do it again next time they have it just because it's so close to me.

California speedway is cool, especially on the infield

$75 for 12 runs is lame.

As far as 1/18th, we are running RC18Rs and the suspension on these cars has really evolved. Duratrax also has another 1/18th car which is worthwhile as well. The RC18R with the Exotek (Formerly Motek) chassis is a winner on asphalt and carpet.

Where are you guys racing the 1/8 cycles? You guys aren't racing on the 1/10th track are you?
Nice.. I wish I still worked for Super Street.. I'd put you on...

we'll be racing on the 1/10 scale track... should be pretty interesting... I'm gonna bring my Slash for some practice time too just in case I get a free moment... I've had it for two months and have yet to run it... and now I want the new Associated SC10.....damn... too many toys, too little time

here's me at El Toro AFB http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...86586_5323.jpg

and a video with my car on the 1/5 scale track at Sun Valley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5rg5aSoNRo

No more Super Street? Dang.

Lol, at driving on the 1/5th scale track. It's cool that you actually take it out to drive it. How come you are on the left side?

The races are still going on man! I am racing tonight in Huntington Park at Beltran Raceway. You can run your M18 there no problem and there is tons of traction!

Nah, no more racing for me. I still cruise the boards now and then. I heard about the carpet track in OC. I have a friend who is still racing a little. He's trying to get me to get back into 12th scale. Two kids in club sports mean no time...or money! LOL!!!
