some chargers do the cutoff voltage per cell, some do it as a total amount.
per cell, 3-7mv is fine, so for a 6 cell pack if the charger does it total amount for the pack in the settings, you want 30-40mv as the cutoff.
older nimh cells, like anything that is not a KAN-1050, PN-1250, CBP-1050, GP1100, IB1200, IB1400 you do not want to charge at over 1.5amps, you want to keep the charge around 1amp.
the newer, better cells you can charge between 1.5 - 2.0amps no sweat.
