Angry ARGG Dogbones help!

HELLOOOO PEOPLES !!

I have just finished installing my brushless motor and lipo batteries and the wheels spin fast, really FAST! So fast that the left dogbone snapped

Yea I know alfred...... you've already warned me about this
but I couldn't justify spending $40 on something so insignificant(at that time)

I just wanted to ask this, do dogbones from other cars (m18) fit into the rs4?
After all they are called universals...

btw how the heck do you take out the drive belt?? If the dogbones don't work out i'll just have to go rwd!

Sorry but they wont fit......if you can afford the aluminums, they will at least hold up to the power and torque of the motor....and just to let you know the mrs4 sucks with handling as being a rwd.....uncontrollable i find. To take off the belt you will need to take the front pod apart and also the motor pod.....just take off the belt side tire off and where the main gear is take that side apart only.

HPI also sell steel dogbones and these might be your best bet for durability and longevity. Slightly heavier than the aluminium types but tough as heck.

They will tend to outlast the micro itself.

Aluminum dog bones will destroy themselves inside ur hub if your rocken the brushless, use steel dogbones AND ball diff's front and rear , if you start to hear grinding noises when u throttle up, the diff is done....
