Beach Bash

Red and Black at the beach. Needless to say they were not polite kicking up sand in everyone's faces..

'Red' shows the camera what a real 'Sand'wich is..

'Red' disappears in a cloud of dust and 'Black' takes it's turn at abusing the camera lense..

(Shield test results are posted in the original V.3 thread)

Thanks Erock..

The camera is about 3 years old, fit's in the palm of my hand. It's a Casio EX-Z50 Digital, 5.0 megapixels, 3X Optical Zoom. Lens is a SMC Pentax 5.8-17.4mm. The camera takes video(avi) and snapshots(jpg).
The trick is.. set the camera record mode to 'Movie', quality to 'Fine'. Set it down on the ground, start recording and run the trucks in front of it, around it and at it. After downloading the files to the computer I use Windows Movie Maker and ACDSee Photo Editor to capture/edit still shots from the AVI's.
For indoor still shots I typically use 'Macro Mode', no flash (unless the setting demands differently) and ACDSee Photo Editor.

cheers

Cool! I'm gonna have to look into that ACDSee Photo Editor program so that I could do the same!

Of all the photo editing software programs out there I found it to be the most versatile. I take snapshots in hi res, so the original jpeg's are 2megs or better. I then crop and resize them down to between 200-300KB so they upload quicker and are not outrageously large when viewed.
