Nice nice. I'm having a bit of trouble with my LHS. I went in to get a new charger. I asked the guy if anyone has come in with a PP, and basically he said that 1/18th scale is dead and anything that megatech makes is crap...*shrugs* oh well. I think they cars are good quality.

If course while I was there I bought a ACS B4. Well one thing I defiantly noticed is that even though I payed more for the B4, the PP has about 2x the range...I was a bit baffled about this...otherwise for the money, many of the breakable parts are wither metal, or really thick plastic. I also think the PP is faster, heh. Oh well.

As far as i know they dont.....well you can go with the 55 and go up on the pinion or go with the 60 and go down, you just have to find that sweet spot- pinion and spur ratio- and being an RC'er you should also keep a set of pinions around so this way you can go up or down if needed.

Uh yeah. You want to know what it is, I think he's just one of those die-hard 1/10 scale car guys (because they're bigger and "badder"). To tell you the truth, I enjoy the 1/18-1/28 scale cars better then the 1/10 but hey, whatever. I live on long island and that one was in farmingdale, there is another one in coram that I will try next. They have a brand new outdoor track I gotta try out when it opens in a couple of weeks though...heh.

I have actually seen people enter 18th scale cars into local races and beat 10th scale cars...

Its great to get back at those guys.

Well, one thing is for sure my PP has more grip them my B4, this thing slips like crazy. It is a bit faster, but I guess due to the increased weight, there is more inertia swinging it around. *shrugs* say what he will...close minded a**holes.

I would'nt worry about the lhs workers anyway.....we all have our preference. I came down to micros from 10th tc and to tell you the truth i love it, its just nice to see a micro go so fast. I sold my old electric tc3 to a helli guy who knew nothing about tc's, just dont know if he was able to get it on the road or not. And another thing you need to understand is that its there job to make sure you spend your money, especially if this is your first time getting into this hobby.
