yah i got the diff and dogbones from ronbeck the other day!

and i got some 6/32 threaded rod to make some links for my shorty stretch!hehehe

did'nt find any tubing yet though. but i'll look for that stuff when i can?

i was talking to the guys at trcc about the stretched tlt they have. found out that the parts they used for the stretch is only around $40!!!

so i may go that route for the stage 2 stretch

the pede tranny setup is still in the books, but i think i may do the shorty stretch first, than do the trcc stretch second and after that go for the pede tranny? unless something comes up?

this may free me up to get another m18 or 18t to go racing? but that's another story!hehehe

o.k. got to do my short stretch this weekend!

it has given me a 8 1/4" wheelbase with a 2 1/2" ground clearance.

i am really liking the look of the truck now!!!

hope to get some runtime in this week?

and it probably won't be getting dirty just yet! want to keep playing with it in the house!hehehe

yah alfred stretching does help out the tlt's handling.

my little comparison of jumping off a step in my house with the stock wheelbase the truck would nose dive hard! but with the stretch it jumps pretty level now!

i am having either motor problems due to stock gearing or esc?

it may be combination of both though? the esc's wires are still 18g so i'm sure that's not good for the epic outlaw stock!!!

Did you make sure all your connections are solid....sometimes the plugs that go into the rx dont go in all the way....take a small flat head and push the pins in. Wheres the pic of this stretch.....

yah connections are good.

i think the combination of the stock gearing and skinny esc wires is putting to much load on the esc? because it is running really warm!

the pic above is of the stretch. here's one from underneath.

nothing special since it's just threaded rod!hehehe

man i wish i saw that you had an eits daytona chassis you were trying to get rid of! or that i had some servo savers for you!hehehe

i bought it off of whome. it's a really good looking car!

it has the xray ball diffs and a daytona chassis on it! the chassis is black but the swivel upper deck is the same color as your chassis!

Well it's been a little while since posting here.

But my TLT project is moving ahead a lot faster than I had originally planned!hehehe

The truck is still the same from the pics above!

But I have ordered a crawler chassis for it!!! And will be picking up a pede tranny this week(hopefully)

Chassis should be in next week!

Plans are to get the esc back into the truck today or tomorrow so I can get some play time in with the current setup, before changing to the crawler chassis!

This is a pic of the chassis that I am getting!
