Well i didnt do much on the M18t at all, just replaced the motor mount to the Xray unit, but since you plan to race with it i would get a set of tuning springs and also the Xray universals......please check out the Micro Market, Acsubie has his for sale. http://yourmicro.com/forums/showthre...170#post194170 You will love how the M18t handles man........

The Graupner Speed 300 6v with a 12 tooth pinion is a good place to start.

http://www.home.earthlink.net/~jmend...otorsmain1.htm There you go, and it should be around $18 with shipping. I have one of these motors I ran for a year racing twice a month, and it works in my son's Frgo now that he has shown interest in racing.

And the m18t is by far smooother to run then the AE trucks. The h8 is a bit a of a pig and takes a lot more effort to find the right setup. And People seem to dump $100's into them and then just sell them off. But my Fav basher Truck is the M-lst. But all have there own quarks or flaws....

It all depends on the gearing of course, i might say around 25mph. Dont worry about the speed yet because there are plenty of hotter motors out there.
