i think I fried my esc

I dont know why I was going down the road and it just stopped.

My motor is stock.

My battery is stock.

The only thing that isnt stock is the servo.

the esc got really hot.

The only reason I think the esc is not damaged is the red light still goes on.

I also think a rock got caught in the motor because I drive it in dirty and rocky conditons

the motor will work on a single battery.

The motor just stutters and the servo goes haywire when i try to use it in the truck.

I took an xmod motor and hooked it up to the esc it ran perfectly in forward and reverse.

So should I Get a new motor or esc.

Make sure that all the plugs in your rx is plugged in....you can use a small flat tip to push in the plugs.....have you tried another motor or esc.....if your buddies into rc's then you might want to ask them if you can use theres to test on.

How long have you been running it? Maybe the brushes in the motor are gone as the motor you tried worked.

I dont know I might try to fix it or I might just save up and get an e savage or a stampede. IF I do fix it I will either get a team orion baja motor. Or save up and get a t mamba 8000.

So any of you guys know if the gears can handle it. I will only be running it with a 6 cell. Also will it bolt right in.

Also will A mamba cog with just a radio shack 6 cell.

Thanks.
