speed controlls

can anyone enlighten me on what the amperage on esc's does? like a 25 amp to a 7 amp?

The amperage is what your looking for to handle the type of motor for that esc...........the higher the amperage the more choices of motors you can run with that esc. For example you would never run a 20amp motor on a 7amp bl esc.......

A micro esc like the Novak Spy and such....but if you plan to run any hotter motors in the future then go with a 10th scale esc....that will do the job for any micro motor thats out there now.

but how do i know the minimal amperage that i can get for an esc for that.like would a 7 amp work or 10 or 20 25? how can i figure this out? im keeping my brushless setup for racing and my micro modified for drifting.

The most a stock micro motor will pull would be about 5amps or less....a mod 300 would be about 10amps.......and plus when you take a look at the package of the esc it would tell you the frequency and the amperage of the esc.......

yes of course it is....i use a stock 180 motor in my M18 for drifting.

is a 7 amp controller good for this motor or should i get 10 or so, like i said earlier, im only using this motor with the esc i get.

What kind of esc are you using now.....Yes you can use that esc with that motor, you should have no problem at all.

what exactly will work best?from what i know the higher turned motor and lowest gear would be best for drifting?correct?

Just as long as you break traction you should be fine, as for gearing i use 16/44. And what esc do you plan on using with the 45t mod motor.
