Larger servo

Hey guys, The first thing I did to my buggy and my truck was install a futaba s-3101 servo with the futaba servo saver. and Man !!!... what a huge difference. Much quicker and way smoother. I had to dremel a small notch in the side of the chassis so where the wire comes out of the servo has some clearance, and also had to dremel off the mounting tabs on the servo. then just a little servo tape on the servo and drill two small holes in the bottom of the chassis , so a zip tie can be installed around the servo and down through the bottom of the chassis. This is nearly indestructable !!!!

don't listen to mr. glass half empty. im all about some custom dremel work! instead of the zip tie, you can use 2 counter sink bolts just larger than the servo and a small peice of aluminum, plastic, carbon etc for a top plate. OR just shoe goo the sucka in place! if properly done, the shoe goo will stay in place until you are ready to remove it.

ps: if your chassis ever does break, you can often repair it as good as new. check out the epoxied hole in the background! the chassis was cracked along the front and that side of the battery tray as well.
