Nobody hijacked the thread...

The thread just lends itself to that kind of talk since its a radioshack vehicle...

Since you did that you might as well use shoo goo to keep the electronics on there..........why did you cut them off anyway.

Radioshack is doing a killer bundle sale on the ProPulse (until June 23rd) so I picked up the Buggy...Being an avid Lipo man, I made adjustments to the stock placement of the Rx/ESC and moved them into the battery area and am using the spot they were before to put my Lipos (my Lipos won't fit in the batt compartment). Look rather well I must say.

Since the big green guy posted here I think I should too.

Here's one of the Hobbit Holes Pro-Pulses (the wife has the other)

I repositioned the ESC to the main Chassis and moved the Receiver over a hair on the brace.
I shortened the wires and replaced all the plugs with Deans Ultra Connectors.
I modified the battery hold down plate (notched it) because the repositioned REC would be hit by hit when removing/installing. I glued a piece of styrene to it to reinforce where it's notched.

What I've done since but haven't had time to get a photo of yet is.

1. Installed RS Titanium Turnbuckles.
2. Mounted ProLine Hummer SUT body (the wheelbase on the body is a little short but I'll work with it. I'll be painting it soon.
3. Repositioned the front shocks to proper location.

What I want to do.

1. RPM Arms for RC18T
2. 3Racing Shocks (RC18T)
3. MIP Diffs
4. MIP CVD's
5. RC18T hubs.

Wonder what else?

I finally finished the new body for my little Pro-Pulse.

I had a few problems with it during detailing but it looks OK.

The original plan was to use some old water slide decals I had sitting around but decade old decals didn't stick like I wanted.

The first couple of shots is before I went crazy with the decals.

I mixed a dot of black with the red to make the darker hue. It was intended to use some old decals, Black Flag Insect Repellent. While putting the decals one they didn't want to stay down. I've used these on lexan bodies before and didn't have a problem but after a decade (probably longer) the glue didn't hold. The numbers are from a newer set of decals I had.

So I went through the decal/sticker bag and found something I thought would look good. Raybestos Brakes

But then another problem, the word Raybestos for the hood decal was red. I didn't think it would look good against the darker red. So I pulled out some yellow film (covering for RC airplanes I used on slot cars years ago) and make an oval to be the background of the decal.

Hope you like.
