Lightbulb Soooo .. RED .. and now I'm afraid to run it...

It's my show car RC18T, all RED alloy, mostly GPM, Topcad wheel, Atomic motor mount, BL system with 3 cell Li-Po and the Crowd Pleazer body.

Installed the Hot-Racing Hex Adapters and 1/10 wheels.

Lightbulb

Yap! .... It's the thing that came into my mind ... twisted chassis and all those scratches that will show up.
I don't think I'll run it off-road and probably I'll mod it to be a carpet racer. lol ....

One last look of the clean bottom before I'll do the damage to it ...

heck!...with all that weight on it already, just spray a clear coat on the underside if it (for protection) and then run it.

Looks amazing. I bet it was fun to build. Probably won't be as much fun to ruin, I mean, drive. Mind letting us know which li-po pack you've got in there? Is it a HiModel? Any other details on that brushless setup you can share?

Very nice, although I prefer your CF one over this.

One question:

How is the Tank 20-40 kv5400 motor you have on your other rc18t performing? (I got the same motor coming my way..)

Thanks guys for all the comments. So far it's never been on dirt yet ....

aktiondan ....
This one ..... HERE .... is the Li-Po I'm using.
Motor is Himax 2025-5300 .... Here .... with 10T pinion and 57T spur.

turtle ....
Thanks for following up. The .. Tank Motor ... is doing great with giving me ton of torque every time I pull the trigger of my TX.
But just one time that I might be overtight the mounting screws and the head pop out of the can during test-running. Then I just put a few drops of the CA glue and it's good to go again. As until now it's still running OK. It was the only thing happened to this Tank motor.

Thanks for the comments about the Tank 20-40 CF!

BTW, I bet that you could run a MUCH larger pinion and still have plenty of torque..

I had 56/19 gearing in my rc18t with a much smaller 20mm x 30mm 5700KV BK-electronics motor.
