Gratz on overpowering your go old RS4 Micro....

However I have bad news.... on 7.2/7.4(Li-po) the stock motor won't last long.

My stock motor smoked last night after about 6 battery cycles.

Luckly for me there is a big block motor mount heading my way.

I'm looking into Li-po. But what I have is just a 6V Team orion Ni-MH. I know this will burn the engine, I have an elite engine on the way. should be able to keep up. The stock motor should last a little longer than six runs.

Yes it should.....your talking about a lifespan of maybe 2 or 3 months at 7.2 volts....check the gear mesh between the pinion and spur.

Off topic again.......if the motor gets hot the best thing to do is lower the pinion count.....and also use a heatsink.....

Click on User Cp, and then Edit options....scroll to the bottom of the screen where it says Change my Avatar.....you can upload a pic from there....but you have to make sure that it has been resized.....if you need help in doing that just email me the pic.
