I still haven't decieded if I want one or not. I still haven't gotten a good answer on how to tru it. So I don't know as of now. I just bought a chubby motor to tide me over until I decide. I don't have quit a big enough area to run that fast of a car. Several of my neigbors have gravel driveways and I am hesitant about hitting a rock at those speed and recking my car. So I don't know yet.

Plus the price is still alittle to steep.

I will let you all know when I decied.

Ruger

Just too remind you man....dont pay for the Chubby when you can pay less and get a Graupner Speed 300bb motor...there both the same motor anyway.....except with the Chubby all your paying for is the sticker.

Gotcha Aflred. I saw that rcboyz had a new chubby motor for $14.00. So I bought it. It is much faster than my old one. I will heed your advice though. I will keep that in mind when I buy a new motor...... Thanks ya'all

The Chubby doesnt have bearings?
Can you link to this 300 with bearings?

he was running a rc18b with a 2 cell lipo and the cobalt 14x1 motor. i was driving my mini t with mamba sport & 3 cell lipo.

he was a better driver, but the motor he was running was SICK! i got the chance to take a peek at one taken apart today. it has ball bearings and is laid out pretty well.

my lhs runs 8-minute mains, and this motor (as I am told) REALLY sucks down batteries. the guy was running a 2-cell, 800maH lipo that would dump right after the race was over.

Thats nice to hear, so who won? you or him? Is your mamba the sport 4200kv? If it is, then yea that's a close match.

the cobalt is a 14T.....it is risky, I would say no. Get like a Graupner Speed 300 motor, I think you will like it!
