they weigh too much, and dont fit as easily as 2/3a batteries do. There is usually a reason why everybody runs 1 of 2 different types of batteries, in the case of the micro rs4, brick cells or 2/3a batteries (for competition)

the only reason i can see runnin sub c's is to run some sanyo 3300hv's youd get killer runtime.. and i think i might to just that with my bl-micro, cuz it will draw alot of amps, and will only need 4.8v or so to go pretty fast..

they will work but they are heavy and big. my friend taped a six cell pack on the top of his car and it worked fine.

Ive seen those same batteries in the dan Marx car and he had bb and 300 and 400 in his car corse he had the better chassis but i still think with 6 or 7 volts in a high preformace stock will fly. first of all the sock is not drawing much amperage and secound its alot lighter. what do you guys think? and what batteries should i get of not them? member i want high MaH cause i want run time. at least 1500 i would like 1800-2000 and those sub's are 1800

I use 2/3A Nexcell cells. Along with everyone else, I don't recommend sub C's because of size and weight. Where do you put them all? Longer run times don't add up to faster run times. Stick with bricks or 2/3A. They are your best option for speed and run times.

Yeah I've used AA's. It's just harder to fit 8 of them on the car and I think they weigh more?

You emailed me more than once and I never responded?? That's so unlike me. I usually get a few emails everyday with questions about Micros in general, but I usually try and respond to everyone. Maybe yours slipped through the cracks??? Let me check my in box. I'm glad the vids helped you in making your decision to ultimately buy a Micro. You won't be disappointed!
