I wonder why no Coreless 300?

That would be probally one of the best motors to date included against current modifieds. Simple because of his clean spinning high runtime function.

Yeah, it probally would be expensive, wish I could find production info about the motor. I wish I could read to understand more on this rare design to understand where it could go, if a 300 size platform.

No doubt, I think it would be neat to approch also on a Brushless 130? I wonder if it could be powerful enough to beat a 180 Coreless, but have even more quality and function to it. The size would make everything more convieant and its a kibby size.

At my track we use Speed 300's, and i think having a Coreless would be more efficient for the batts.....not allowed to use lipos at all.....

I think you should try one out, its very smooth and it just spins with out any friction, like a Brushless...

You could probally say a its a cousin to the brushless motor. I just wish you could add in stronger magnets. If that was possible, well...

Hmm, well if your on a 1/10 scale course I wouldn't get it. Could be be slow as in your hit top end faster before the middle of the straight away.

300 is way faster. I would get the corelessr if you just want a change in pace and have a different course setup.

The TO Coreless already uses Neodynium Mags. BTW there are many sizes of Coreless motors. I know of a few companies that see 540 coreless, and so on. I'm pretty sure they sell 300 coreless as well.

540 coreless?

I am not sure how much you know about the design of Coreless motors. The iron core is missing in that type of armature. It has been replaced with plastic or epoxy. So the only thing holding the armature together happens to be sensitive to heat. Coreless motors have one major drawback when they are big enough to start making serious power. That drawback is heat; there's no large heatsink to pull heat away from the coils.
