take your electronics out of a case and heat shrink them..... shorten all your wires... or replace them with a smaller guage and then shorten them....be creative theres alot of mod on theese boards... cut your wheels and golue them to your hubs so they dont move while racing...... good luck.

thanx, but i already knew about the heatb shrink and tire gluing because i used to race a rustler 2.5. I do have a question abot the electronics. Do the wires break easily where the solder is?

polish the front suspension pins and sand the arms so the arms move freely,

you can cut one coil off the the front springs,

notch the rear chassis to allow more flex

cross drill in hubs and narrow them to lighten rotating mass

strap batteries to chassis not upper deck

where the arm touches the bulkhead just to remove some of the mold flashing and so it is not a tight fit. the arms should be able to fall from their own weight equally

here's another one... rub bar soap (dry of course) on the spur gear in order to supply a sort of dry lube. It won't attact dust this way. Just tried it... Didn't really notice MUCH of a difference, but it's a little more muted now.... I dunno... Well, at least it's less than $5.

make sure put thread loc on the set screw that goes into the purple aluminum part on the left rear hub or else it will probably fall out after a while.
