Just stay away from the paint is for plastic model kits. It will say "enamel" on it. I should say it's for Lexan bodies AKA polycarbonate bodies.

The only real reason you should use specific paint for rc bodies is because (a) it needs to put up with all the bumping and smashing you put it through, and (b) it needs to be real flexible. A trait enamel doesn't have.
Yeah I use Pactra Racing Finish or something along those lines. That's really the only type I've tried as my LHS doesn't carry any other spray cans, so I really can't say whether it's better or not. I've heard good things about Tamiya paint (a lot about their large selection), so if you see Tamiya paint, get it.

RC Paint

I get my Parma FasKolor from either Tower or Stormer Racing. Both seem to always have it and the prices are pretty good.

I just started this myself and I was wondering what you guys used in terms of pressure for your FasKolor?

Also where's the best place to get airbrush parts? I have inherited my grandfather's Paasche (I think it's a VL) external mix airbrush and I also have a Craftsman internal mix but I want to get the other nozzles/needles for the Paasche.

Also what's the difference between single and dual action brushes???

Thanks in advance...you guys always come through for me!!!!

I'm an airbrush newb too!

Here's a great site for airbrush parts, and they have a FAQ on the different types of brushes...
http://www.dixieart.com/Dixie_Art_Su...Main_Page.html
http://www.dixieart.com/AirbrFAQ.html

Here's a great "how-to" article on airbrushing...
http://rctech.net/articles/painting_hauntedmyst.shtml

And here's a recent thread I started to get some info on getting started in airbrushing...
http://yourmicro.com/forums/showthre...threadid=13132

Hope that helps!
