Yeah they all seem to start out a lil notchy. 3 or 4 runs on a high traction surface will bring it right in. You can also put the wheels on inside out to gain a little more width in the stance. Works well for me. Thefirst thing to go seem to be those pesky steering tie rods. I have made several from that clear blister pack material. I also charge mine with my peak charger set to its lowest setting of .5 volts. Vast improvement in punch and runtime over stock charger. BTW the first thing I did was de-sticker mine
Anyone having trouble with there rear wheels. Myright wheel would stop spinning. I took apart and cleaned. Used air to blow out. Reset spur and slpper gear. Seemed like a great power loss. Went into LHS to get parts and check. It was ok. Bought diff. rebuild kit, but it seems 0k now so I did not install yet. Still have power loss. Suspect I need wall charger. I have had car for two months. I originally thought it was engine. Intermitten problem an I have not found. PLease advise, thankyou
OK so your right rear wheel does not spin free or is spinning slower than the left side?
The simplest answer could be your e-clip being on incorrectly. See if it is sitting in the grove of your axel correctly.
I'd assume you checked for anything else rubbing the wheel like the dogbone or bushing? The wheel bearings help alot in the wheel hubs here. Could your steering hub be bent or wrapped and rubbing in the wheel?
After that, check your slipper. Just make sure it is assembled correctly. Good luck
Seems a little better after I check e clips. I am waiting on wall charger. Loss of power is in tx also. Checking batteries. Great little truck. Thankyou for help all
