There was some discussion on this thread about modifying the cars to work with the buggy bodies. Well at this point, with the Jconcepts body, there's not much modification necessary at all. With an M18, just remove the top plate or bar, and attach the body directly to the top of the front gear and a fabricate a body post on the center hole of the rear gear box. Use the stock xray body post holder to hold the spoiler. The album above has lots of close-up pics. Some re-arranging of your electronics may be necessary to make them fit, but nothing drastic, especially now with so many affordable and small li-po battery options. The outside servo mount will poke out of the side of body a little, but not a big deal at all if you ask me. One of our racers also kept his top plate and made that work.
We've really been enjoying our open-wheel racing series. The tight racing and crashes that we get with open wheels have us red faced with laughter on a regular basis.
