Hello....Thoughts? Info?

Hey all

Well first off I want to say hi to everyone.

I have always been into RC starting out with toys, and moving up, nitro, and now my main rc is a 1/4 scale HPI baja 26SS. WILL NEVER GO BACK TO CRAPPY NITRO!! LOL Also have a few planes, Well I needed a smaller RC to use with my neices, so I got me a rc18T. It is all stock with a 2S lipo.

I am goign to be goign brushless so I can utilize all my 3S lipos I have for my planes. Everyone seems to like mamba.

I want something reliable, strong, and fast. But price is a big deal to me. I do not have tons of spare dough to throw into the motor and ESC.

I was looking at these, anyone have any experience/use them.

Alright I will see if any one else chimes in on them.

As far as buying on the forums classifieds I am nervous I was burned 85.00 on my first try at a rc18T on RCUniverse.com. So I am done buying off from these type of forums I think. I have been burned twice, on forums. Not happening again.

A friend of mine used a ezrun system on one of his 1/10 scale cars. He said they were worth the money. I never seen him run it though so im going off word of mouth really.... I would give it a shot if I were you. For 60 bucks your more than likely to get your moneys worth from it, at least.

Yeah I understand that factor, I did find a actual website that sells these combo's. So if I do go with this setup, I will go throuhg the this actual web site for it. I think it was www.thinkrc.com (can't remember)

Still liek to find some people who have actually used this setup though.

Yes that is a good point, but it is still better then buying directly from Hong Kong.

Well if I go this route I'll be keeping my fingers crossed, and ready for consequences if it does not work out.

we will see...

Anyone ever delt with this setup/used it? some one has to have so I can know if they are worth it.

Thanks
George

Im sure if you search around ebay and forums you can find a good deal on a nice system. If you do order from a forum be sure to use paypal though, they have decent buyer protection.
