My M18MT, back with brushless.

Hi All,

I've come back with my M18MT, for thoes that do not remember me (probably all of you, I'm easily forgettable).

I managed to really smash up my M18MT.

After going back to basics with my Micro RS4 and re-leaning to drive that then trying the M18MT again, i was having the same problems, so after some tweaks and going though numrous motors. (Speed 300, Anderson escape 380) I've gone to brushless.

She's still a little skittish at top speed (7.4 Li-po and 6800 BL will do that tho) but overall she handles much better.

And now for the Pics.

Firstly the naked shot, note I've gone down to 4 shocks. from 8 made a huge difference.

Side on from the Chassis, notice for a M18MT She's V low. And the fact I have the new orange wheels on her.

Here's the BL motor she's a brute, notice the aluminium motor mount aswell. And yes i'm on the smallest pinion possible.

Here's the battery, a 2200 10C Li-po i've had to raise the pattery posts to make it fit.

And fnally with the body shell, note I'm waiting on a new body shell but this one's been great for leaning to drive this thing.

Thanks man,

I've had to make her low just to prevent the problems i was having with tipping over on corners.

As for off roading she does not really "do" off road i compete in a "off road" race every monday night, but it's all on smooth concrete anyway.

Actaully it's held in posistion with double sided tape.

However the bottom of the mamba is not exactly "Flat" so the tape does not hold perfectly so i use a zip tie to hold it in place. incase of any "big" jolts.

plus it give me the oppertunity to route the wires in a more "tidy" way.

Well then shoo goo will work.....just put a small dab and let it set and your good to go.....you wont have to worry about the esc coming off during a crash....
